Born in 1971, Lara Huntsman originally hails from Mississauga, Ontario. She now makes her home in Toronto, Ontario.
In the summer of 2006, under the instruction of Toronto-based painter and teacher Klaas Hart, Lara picked up a paintbrush and found meaning and passion in painting. As an emerging oil painter, she enjoys exploring the endless aspects and challenges of still life, landscape and most of all figure work and portraiture.
